Introducing Kody!  Kody, our senior lab/pit mix is about 8 years young and sports his frosted senior face exquisitely! Kody was pulled from animal control and brought into our rescue along with his dad, Bowser - who was recently adopted. Kody is very SWEET and GENTLE with his human peeps, but it may take him a few days to warm up to animal friends. Once properly introduced, Kody does great with both dogs & cats. Kody is so ready to be loved and return the love to a forever family. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations & came away with a clean bill of health from the vet. It is so hard not to fall in love with this boy upon meeting him. Kody's daily routine consists of a few trips outside to potty, followed by hours of nap time on his bed. He is crate trained, making leaving the house a snap, but he also rides well in the car. Kody has such a gentle waggle - the sign of a gentle soul. In addition, he recently passed his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. We are seeking a forever family for Kody who will love him unconditionally and provide him with a warm home and soft bed for the rest of his life. Given the challenge of finding homes for senior dogs, we are lowering his adoption fee to $100. An adoption application and home visit are required prior to any placement.
